Three years ago, we decided to build a new virtual data room platform. Our legacy platform was performing very well and we did not see any gaps to what our competitors were offering. However, we decided to build on the foundation of what we had learned from seven years of providing data room services. The new technological framework would allow us to maintain and build on our platforms simplicity, speed and security.
A significant component of our new platform is the infrastructure it runs on – the servers, network, and security hardware that allow us to provide the service our clients want. This is where the majority of our investment went.
We launched our new data room platform in the fall of 2013 after 20 months of coding and testing in partnership with SunGard Availability Services. The results have been extremely positive:
Our clients have given us feedback on how quick the platform is to respond. The simplicity and speed has improved.
We were able to decommission our legacy platform which utilized hardware to run our servers. The new platform runs on virtual servers.
Our uptime in the last 9 months has gone up to 99.99%.
We have won multiple awards and accolades because of how well we complement our technology with dedicated service.
